Three shot at Columbus County club

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — One person remains in critical condition after a shooting early this morning in Columbus County. It happened around 2 a.m. at Balls Night Club in Evergreen.

Columbus County Sheriff’s deputies say three people were shot. One person was shot in the neck and another in the head. A bullet grazed another woman.

Deputies say it appears there were multiple shooters, but witnesses are not cooperating. Also, the building is not a licensed nightclub.
