County votes to renovate 320 Chestnut St.
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — New Hanover County Commissioners voted to breathe new life into the old administrative building at 320 Chestnut Street. The building has been empty since a water leak back in 2010.
Instead of tearing the building down and starting over, commissioners voted unanimously to renovate the building at a cost of $9.8 million.
It will take about two years before the building would be ready.
