Wrightsville Beach accident sends two to the hospital

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY)– In Wrightsville Beach police are investigating after a car accident sent two to the hospital Sunday.

Sergeant Steve Evanko says it happened around 2:00 Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Bob Sawyer Dr and Causeway Drive. Officers blocked off Causeway for about 30 minutes.

Both drivers were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
