Man arrested for allegedly robbing a woman with screwdriver

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — According to Wilmington Police Department spokesperson Cathryn Lindsay, Jamie Green was arrested for allegedly robbing a woman with a screwdriver.

Officials say the incident occurred around 1 am Saturday near Princess Place Drive and Maides Ave.

Green was picked up on a warrant for armed robbery Saturday morning at 8:25 am.

Spokeswoman says he robbed a women armed with a screwdriver and got away with money and a lottery ticket.

Lindsay says the female victim was unharmed.

He is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.
