Wilmington Police investigating body found

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY)– Wilmington Police are investigating a body found this morning. 

Officers responded to Godwin Stadium located on Shipyard Boulevard just before 9 on Tuesday morning in reference to a death investigation.  

That investigation is still underway.  

Wilmington Police have not released any other details about the case at this time.
