Deputies searching for missing Leland woman

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick County investigators are searching for a missing Leland woman who they say was last seen Tuesday afternoon.

Deputies say Alicia Marie Deans, 26, of Old Lanvale Road, was likely heading to Whiteville to visit a friend around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. They say Alicia is 5’7″ tall, weighs 160 lbs., and has blue eyes and dark hair.

Investigators say Alicia drives a green, four-door Ford Taurus with North Carolina plates that read CLS5844. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Ronald Clarke at 386-7080, or call 911.
