Hudson steps down as Pender football coach

BURGAW, NC (WWAY) — Tony Hudson is out as head football coach at Pender High School.

Hudson told WWAY Monday night he is stepping down after four season leading the Patriots. He has an overall record of 11-34, but went just 2-20 the last two seasons.

Hudson is a Pender High grad. Before taking the Patriots top job, he was an assistant at Trask High School.
