Top 2 teams in the CAA will face off this weekend if the weather cooperates in Charleston

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The College of Charleston, the first place team in the CAA, will host second place UNCW in a key three game series if the weather cooperates this weekend.  “We’re 16-2 and they’re 15-3,” Charleston head coach Monte Lee said.  “Whoever wins this series is probably going to be the team that wins the league. They’ve got one series after that, so do we and if you just start doing the math. UNC Wilmington has the type of resume that they’re probably going to get in the NCAA postseason and we should too right now.”
