Lane closures planned on 3rd Street next week

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A spokesman with the NCDOT says next will bring more road work near Downtown Wilmington.

Officials say starting Monday night to Thursday morning, there will be intermittent lane closures on 3rd Street from Greenfield to Wooster streets. The work will happen between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

Crews will be milling and resurfacing the area, so there will be no street parking allowed during that time. Officials add any cars parked in the area will be towed.
