Online retailers offer Cyber Monday deals
Now it’s up to online retailers to bring in the business. Today is “Cyber Monday,” the day people go back to work and use their office computer to shop.
With the economic challenges and the number of new online customers leveling off more web retailers have been pushing special offers and promotions to draw customers.
Toys-R-Us will hold a one-day online sale and rival www.etoys.com will launch a two-day sale. Wal-Mart will begin five days of online-only specials.
A spokesperson for the National Retail Federation said the number of retailers offering free shipping with no restrictions has jumped to more than 41 percent, up from 36 percent last year.
