Vehicle stop leads to drugs, counterfeit money arrests

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man and woman from New Hanover County on charges including drug possession and possession of counterfeit money.

Deputies say Eric James Faucette, had 22 counterfeit $10 bills made by photocopying the original, according to a warrant. They say the 31-year-old from Wilmington also had the drug Focalin, which is for ADHD.

Investigators say Dawn Lea Brown, 27, had seven grams of cocaine. She’s charged with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
