NHRMC northern location now open

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — New Hanover Regional Medical Center has opened its new emergency department in the northern part of the county.

The facility is supposed to take some of the strain off of the other hospitals in the county. It is located at 151 Scotts Hill Medical Drive.

Officials say it will house a full-service, 24-hour emergency department, as well as a diagnostics center where you can schedule regular check-ups and other non-emergency services including x-rays, mammograms, ultrasounds and more.
