Elizabethtown man arrested after 3 home break-ins
ELIZABETHTOWN, NC (WWAY) — Officers with the Elizabethtown Police Department said a man is facing charges in connection with three home break-ins that happened last week.
Police say Steven Robert Boyne, 26, is accused in incidents on May 20 and 21. They say he broke into a home on Queen Court and two homes the next night on Summerhouse and Hill streets. The last two incidents happened while the residents were sleeping in their homes, police said.
Items such as televisions, medications, jewelry and other items were reported stolen. Police say Boyne was arrested Friday, May 22 and is facing charges including felony breaking and entering and first degree burglary. He’s in jail under a $175,000 secured bond.
