Pedestrian struck, killed in Columbus Co.

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Troopers are working to identify the man who was struck and killed by a vehicle this morning.

Troopers say they got the call around 5:30 a.m. on Clarendon Chadbourn Road near Mercer Road. They said a man, who they are still working to identify, was not wearing reflective gear when struck.

No charges have been filed at this time against the unidentified driver.
