Teen wanted for allegedly strangling girlfriend

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are asking for help finding a teenager wanted on a domestic violence charge.

Police say Trent Jinwright, 17, allegedly tried to strangle his girlfriend April 3. They say he is also wanted for probation violations.

The NC Department of Public Safety website shows Jinwright was convicted in December of resisting an officer and in February for receiving/possessing a firearm. In both cases he received a sentence of probation.
