Man identified in deadly pedestrian crash

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Troopers said charges are not expected in a deadly pedestrian-involved crash.

Troopers say they got the call around 5:30 a.m. Thursday on Clarendon Chadbourn Road near Mercer Road. Troopers said Tyrone Bellamy, 35, was hit by a car and died.

The unidentified driver will not be charged, troopers said.
