WPD looking for suspects in hit-and-run that left woman pinned between cars

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating an early morning hit-and-run on Market Street near the Travelodge parking lot.

Police say a woman tried to steal a car from the lot when the owner came out, chased the driver and ran in front of the car. They say the victim was pinned between two cars on Market Street. The driver of the victim’s car then jumped in another car and left.

The woman was taken to the hospital but police say she should be OK.
