Man arrested after 50 bags of heroin found

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police say a man is facing drug charges after he was found with 50 bags of heroin.

Police say Travis Antonio Freeman, 27, was arrested at 2:28 a.m. in the 600-block of Red Cross Street this morning. Officers say they found the bags on the suspect.

Freeman was put in the New Hanover County Jail under a $5,000 secure bond.
