Were you at the Shark Tank when Kris Bryant hit a home run in 2012?


WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Friday marked the 3-year anniversary of Team USA playing an exhibition baseball game against the Wilmington Sharks at Buck Hardee Field. Team USA featured Carlos Rodon, who is now a starting pitcher for the Chicago White Sox. Rodon did not play that night, but Kris Bryant did.

Kris Bryant in his first at bat of the game smacked a 2-run home run to give Team USA an early lead against the Wilmington Sharks. Team USA went onto win the game 7-4.

Three years later Kris Bryant is the new face of the Chicago Cubs. He may end up the new face of Major League Baseball if he continues to make strides with the Cubs.
