Man in jail under $1M bond for child sex charges

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police say a man is facing charges in connection with sexual offenses with two teen girls.

Investigators say Joshua Dustin Lutz, 41, was arrested last Tuesday and posted a $150,000 bond. Lutz was arrested two days later after they say another victim came forward. He’s now in jail under a $1 million bond on charges including indecent liberties with a minor, statutory sex offense and firearms charges.

There’s no word on how long the alleged offenses occurred. Information on the relationships between Lutz and the victims are being withheld to protect their identities.
