Sale final of old Brunswick Community Hospital

BOLIVIA, NC (WWAY) — The sale of the old Brunswick Community Hospital is now final, following an emergency meeting held by county leaders Friday.

Centre Development Company II, LLC, bought the property off of U.S. 17 for $750,000. A county spokeswoman said staff is now making final preparations to turn the property over to the new owners. The property is approximately 32 acres.

Brunswick County has owned the property since 2011, when Novant Health opened a new hospital facility at location on U.S. 17.
