No injuries reported in Wilmington house fire

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Emergency crews say no one was hurt in a Monday morning house fire.

The scene is located in the 100th block of South 16th Street. A WFD spokesman said smoke and flames were showing from the home when firefighters arrived.

The spokesman said no one was home at the time of the fire and it was been ruled accidental. Fire investigators said it started in the area of an attic fan. The home has significant smoke and fire damage.
