Are the Wilmington Hammerheads in desperation mode?


WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Don’t look now, but the Wilmington Hammerheads are in last place in the USL Eastern Conference. The top six teams make the playoffs. Wilmington is still mathematically alive for post-season play, but they’re going to have win at least seven games with ten games left  on the regular season schedule.

Wilmington will host Louisville on Saturday at 7pm at Legion Stadium. We’ve posted the USL standings as of July 22 below.
