Prescribed burn at Carolina Beach State Park closing trails

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Town leaders said a prescribed burn scheduled today will close some trails in the Carolina Beach State Park.

Chris Helms said the Flytrap Trail and sections of the Swamp Trail and Sugarloaf Trail are closed today. Other than those closures, the park, marina, campground and visitor center are operating on a normal schedule.
