WPD trying to find missing 14-year-old girl

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are asking for help locating a missing 14-year-old girl.

Jania Washington was last seen at her home in the 2000 block of Creecy Avenue Sunday morning.

Jania is a black female, about 5’2″ with a thin build. She was last known to be wearing a white shirt, black pants, black sneakers with teal trim and a black hairband. She was carrying a green purse.
