Deputies needing help identifying group

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office needs your help identifying this woman and two men.

Deputies said the group is connected to an assault that took place at the Food Lion at 6400 Carolina Beach Road on Monday, Aug. 3 around 6 in the evening.

Investigators said the victim was shopping when the two white males in the picture first bumped into his grocery cart and then one of the men hit the victim in the back of the head.

Deputies said the trio ran out of the store and were seen leaving in a white Ford Escort station wagon.
