UNCW Move-In Day brings campus to life

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Summer is coming to an end. Today 1,874 new freshman and 250 transfer students moved into on-campus housing at UNCW.

2,025 new freshman and 1,425 transfer students are registered to join the Seahawks this school year. Over 1,700 volunteers came out to help each student transition to their new dorms and apartments all over campus. Volunteers were students, faculty, and members of the Wilmington community.

Classes for the fall semester will begin on August 19.
