Shallotte’s Alfy Hill makes his first NFL tackle

PHILADELPHIA (WWAY) — The Philadelphia Eagles acquired former West Brunswick Trojan Alfy Hill on Friday. Hill made his first NFL tackle just two days after being placed on the Philadelphia roster. Hill made a tackle on the next to last play of the game on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts in the first preseason game of the year for both squads.

Alfy Hill spent time earlier this year with the Washington Redskins, Arizona Cardinals and New England Patriots, but he was released by all three NFL teams. The defensive end started his collegiate career at Alabama, but never played in a game with the Crimson Tide. He finished his college career at Winston-Salem State in 2014.
