Wilmington’s Connor Barth has to keep kicking em straight to make Denver’s roster

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Former Hoggard High School kicker Connor Barth is an NFL veteran, but he continues to have to prove he belongs year after year. This season it’s not any different as Barth finds himself in a kicker’s roster spot contest in Denver. We understand the Denver Broncos only want to have one kicker on the roster in 2015. Last season the team had two for a good portion of the season. Connor Barth is known for having an accurate leg. Brandon McManus is known for booming kickoffs. McManus also has more range on his field goals. Click the video above to see what the two kickers did in practice on Tuesday. It was certainly impressive!
