Warrant issued for restaurant robbery suspect

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Carolina Beach Police say they have a warrant for the man they believed robbed a restaurant earlier this week.

Jonathan David Lashin, 26, is wanted for armed robbery with a dangerous weapon in connection to Monday night’s robbery of the Subway at 700 N. Lake Park Blvd.

Investigators say at 8:39 p.m. Monday a man walked into the restaurant, showed a knife and demanded money from employees.
