Deputies offering reward in Leland-area break-ins

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Deputies with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office are looking for the people responsible in a series of break-ins in Brunswick County.

The incidents happened in the Leland and Winnabow areas, on streets in the northern part of town off of US 74 in Leland to streets in the southern part of the area off of US 17 in Winnabow. The dates of offenses range from August 24 to August 30 and all happened between the hours of 11 a.m. and 8:30 p.m., according to incident reports. Items stolen include guns, money, jewelry, electronics and other tools.

Deputies are offering a $500 reward for information leading to an arrest of the person or persons responsible.
