‘Tammy’ shoots final scenes in Hollywood East, heads for Niagra Falls

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — It’s a wrap for “Tammy.”

The film’s final shoot in town closed Blue Clay Road for part of the day. A spokeswoman from the movie said they were shooting a car scene with star Melissa McCarthy.

Crews will now pack up and head to New York to shoot in Niagara Falls.

The movie, which also stars Oscar-winner Susan Sarandon, is due out in theaters next summers.
