Rocky Point man arrested on charges of possessing child pornography
ROCKY POINT (WWAY) — The Pender County Sheriff’s Office arrested Benjamin Eugene-Clae Daniels, a 39-year-old resident of Rocky Point on Thursday.
He was charged him with ten counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of minors due to his participation in illegal internet activities and possessing images of child pornography.
Daniels was arrested at his home during the execution of a search warrant. He made his first court appearance on Friday. His bond was reduced from $350,000 to $100,000. His next court appearance is August 16. Additional charges are pending.
