Miller-Motte career fair draws a crowd

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) —  The crowds lined up before the fair’s doors opened at noon.

The career fair included more than fifty representatives from a range of fields from medicine to cosmetology. Those interested had a chance to submit resumes and apply for open positions.

“We know everybody’s looking for different types of career fields, so just wanted to make sure that we had just a broad spectrum of employers that would be here, “said Rachel Merritt career services director for Miller-Motte College.

Merritt says variety is essential for ensuring the annual career fair is successful. Organizers encouraged participants to come prepared with resumes and business cards to get the most out of their fair experience.
