Wilmington police looking for taxi driver robber

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Investigators with the Wilmington Police Department are looking for a man who robbed a cab driver.

Police said it happened last night after 9:30 p.m. in the 400-block of Evans Street. They said the driver had dropped off a passenger in the area and was approached by a man wearing a black hoodie who demanded cash. The suspect also had his hand in a pocket suggesting he had a weapon, but no weapon was shown. The driver was not hurt.
