We caught up with New Hanover head coach Earl Smith on Wednesday. Smith says his team is fairly healthy right now. “We lost our starting running back in the first game, Keegan Santos, against Hoke County. He’s actually been released, but he probably won’t play until next week, Smith told WWAY. “We have a few guys who are nicked up, but they’ll play. That’s why we had to be careful in practice today in full gear.”
