Connor Barth reflects on his 2015 debut with Tampa Bay Buccaneers

TAMPA, FL (WWAY) —  Wilmington native Connor Barth didn’t make the Tampa Bay roster back in August, but he made the most of his opportunity on Sunday just five days after signing with the Buccaneers. Barth, a Hoggard High graduate, was perfect hitting from 35, 45, and 47 yards on his three field goal attempts. Barth also hit all three of his PAT’s in Tampa Bay’s 38-31 win over Jacksonville. “It’s just cool to come in here and see everyone excited,” Barth said on Sunday. “It’s just awesome and I’m excited to be back. It was an opportunity and I’m just happy to come out and do my job. I’m happy that I kicked off. I don’t know if I ever have ever kicked off like that. That was fun. It was a great team win and I’m just happy to be a part of it.”

Tampa Bay has this weekend off. Connor Barth and the Buccaneers will travel to Washington on October 25th to face the Redskins. Tampa Bay is now 2-3 on the season.
