Wednesday’s soccer game for UNCW moved to Ashley High due to wet field

WILMINGTON, NC (UNCW) — The Colonial Athletic Association men’s soccer game between UNCW and Elon, scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 14, has been moved to Ashley High School Stadium.

The game will kick off at 7 p.m., with gates opening at 6 p.m. No admission will be charged and concessions will not be available.

The Seahawks improved to 7-2-2 overall and 2-1-1 in the CAA after defeating Drexel by a 3-1 margin on Saturday night at UNCW Soccer Stadium. Elon, nationally ranked most of the season, brings a 10-2-0 overall record and 3-1-0 CAA mark into the matchup after edging Lipscomb, 1-0, last Saturday.
