Former Brunswick Co. jailer caught up in lawsuit

BOLIVIA, NC (WWAY) — We have learned more information about a Brunswick County jailer who was fired.

Last week Sheriff John Ingram says Henry Williams shoved an inmate in leg restraints, which led to his termination.

Today, we found out Williams and three others are being sued by a woman named Jill Murphy.

Murphy says while she was in custody in 2010 Williams tased her about four times.

The case will be in court next week.
