Driver OK after accident involving school bus early Friday

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — New Hanover County Dispatch says no children were on a school bus when it was involved in a crash early Friday morning.

Dispatchers say the accident, also involving a red Chevy, happened around 6:40 a.m. at the intersection of Blue Clay Road and Juvenile Center Drive.

They say there were no children on the bus and that the driver is OK.

Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
