Family Dollar robbed in Burgaw

BURGAW, NC (WWAY) — Burgaw Police are searching for the man who robbed the Family Dollar.

It happened just after 11 a.m. Thursday at the store on Highway 117.

Police say a man walked in, insinuated he had a weapon under his shirt and demanded cash. He drove off after getting money.

Police are working on several leads to track down the suspect.
