Police investigate bank robbery

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating a robbery at New Bridge Bank on South College Road.

Police say the robbery happened at 11:22 a.m.

They say suspect, a black male in his thirties, made off with an unknown amount of cash before getting away.

Investigators say the man was wearing a red windbreaker pants, a white t-shirt, and a red hat.

Police say he did not display a weapon.
