Veterans Day discounts & freebies

(WWAY) — In honor of Veterans Day, many restaurants across the country are offering discounted and free meals to thank military members, including both active and retired.

The North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher is waiving all admission fees for the day. O2 Fitness is offering free workouts to active military and veterans from Veterans Day to Saturday, Nov. 14.

The following list includes many of the freebies for veterans offered today:

Chili’s: Free entree
Denny’s: Free Grand Slam breakfast
Einstein Bros Bagels: Free coffee
Golden Corral: Military Appreciation Night free dinner, free dinner between 4 p.m.-9 p.m.
Hooters: Choose from free menu items
IHOP: Free red, white, and blue pancakes from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
Little Caesars: Free $5 Hot-n-Ready Lunch Combo
Olive Garden: Free meal from special menu
On The Border: Free create your own combo
Outback Steakhouse: Free Bloomin’ Onion appetizer and beverage
Starbucks: Free tall hot brewed coffee for active service members, veterans & military spouses
Sizzler: Free lunch and beverage
Texas Roadhouse: Free lunch
Wake N Bake: Free doughnut for veterans
