One dead in shooting in Onslow County
JACKSONVILLE, NC (AP) — Authorities say one man is dead and a second man is being questioned in a shooting in Onslow County.
Sheriff’s Maj. Christopher Thomas tells local media outlets that 30-year-old Quinn Everette of Jacksonville was shot and killed about 3:30 a.m. Monday.
A second man is in custody but no charges have been filed. His name has not been released.
It was the eighth homicide in Onslow County this year.
