Initial draft for conference realignment is out from NCHSAA
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The initial plan for realignment for the North Carolina High School Athletic Association schools is now out. The info below is only a draft. The NCHSAA Realignment Committee will begin its work in earnest in January. Member schools will get a chance to review the plan and make suggestions in writing for the committee to discuss at their next meeting. The schools will also have meetings to discuss it after the first of the year. In summary the Mideastern Conference gets one new member (North Brunswick). The Three Rivers Conference will stay the same as far as the schools in the league. Trask and Pender are slated to join a new league. That’s also the case for East Bladen and West Bladen.
