UPDATE: Wilmington Police looking for two suspects in afternoon shooting

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are trying to find the two men involved in a drive-by shooting that happened shortly before 3:00 pm today.

Spokeswoman Linda Rawley said the shooting happened in the 400 block of Rutledge Drive. She said one man has a gunshot wound to the foot.

Witnesses say the two men were walking down Rutledge Dr. when a dark blue Saturn passed with two males in the car. The passenger aimed a gun out of the window and fired multiple shots at the two men who were walking. A 19 year old was shot in the left foot while running away.

Investigators say his injuries are not life threatening. The suspects are described as Hispanic or very light skinned. Investigators have one person of interest they are trying to locate.
