Chick-fil-A swaps out coleslaw for gourmet ‘superfood side’
(CNN) — Chick-fil-A wants to help you keep your New Year’s resolution to eat healthier.
The fast food chain will start offering what it calls a “superfood side” later this month.
It’s a blend of chopped kale and broccolini tossed in a maple vinaigrette dressing. It’s topped with dried sour cherries and comes with a blend of roasted nuts.
The gourmet side is sold in two sizes. A small one costs $2.59 and contains 140 calories. The larger size will cost $3.79 and pack 170 calories.
