Leland man arrested on forcible sex charges

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A man was booked into the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office on forcible rape charges Friday evening.

25-year-old Alec Gustave Bower, of Leland, is charged with first degree force sex offense and first degree forcible rape.

Bower is being held under a $500,000 secured bond.
