Laney to induct seven new members into Hall of Fame

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Laney High will induct new members into its Athletics Hall of Fame this week.

Friday’s ceremony will honor seven men and women for their role in the school’s sports history, including:

Fred Allen (Football and Basketball)
Carl Bateman (Community Support)
Arnold Brown (Football)
Marques Dickerson (Basketball)
Roxanne Mills (Softball)
Alan Sewell (Wrestling Coach)
Shaqwedia Wallace (Basketball)

The induction ceremony will be help Friday night before the boys basketball game against cross-town rival Hoggard.
