‘One Tree Hill’ cast headed back to Wilmywood

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington is getting two chances to go back to Tree Hill in 2016. Cast members will be heading back to the Port City for a couple events this year.

Many One Tree Hill fans already knew the cast would be here for the 3rd Eyecon Convention in March. Those conventions typically bring in thousands of fans. What some folks might not know is the stars will be back in July for another cast reunion called ‘Inside OTH.’

According to Hilarie Burton, who played Peyton Sawyer on the show, this will be unlike any other One Tree Hill convention.

“So there’s an opportunity this summer to get together with some of our old crew members from one tree hill and really celebrate some awesome stuff that’s gone down in North Carolina. So i’m not going to tell you everything right now, but stay tuned and I can’t wait to see you guys this summer,” Burton said in a Youtube video.

For those who didn’t watch the show when it was on cable, the entire series is on Netflix, and you’ll have plenty of time to binge watch the Wilmywood hit before summer time.
